From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human PARK7/DJ1 (Parkinson Disease Protein 7). The assay is intended for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids, and is reactive with human samples. Detection is performed on a colorimetric microplate reader, with absorbance read at 450 nm.
The kit reports a sensitivity of <0.64 ng/ml and a working range of 1.56–100 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
Spike-and-recovery performance (n=5) ranged from 80% to 102% with an average of 91% in serum, from 81% to 100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma, and from 80% to 89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity from 1:2 to 1:16 (n=5) was 87–91% to 92–97% for serum, 90–105% to 79–108% for EDTA plasma, and 84–95% to 89–91% for heparin plasma.
