Human Parathyroid Hormone Receptor 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Parathyroid Hormone Receptor 1 (PTH1R) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. Reactivity is restricted to human samples. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm.

The standard curve spans 0.312-20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.124 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. After incubation with standards or samples, a biotinylated anti-PTH1R antibody is added, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution; absorbance is proportional to PTH1R concentration. Reported recovery ranges are 80%-102% for serum (n=5, average 91%), 81%-100% for EDTA plasma (n=5, average 90%), and 80%-89% for heparin plasma (n=5, average 84%).
