Human Paraoxonase 3 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Paraoxonase 3 (PON3) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The 96-well microtiter plate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for PON3. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where PON3 is captured by the immobilized antibody, then detected using a biotinylated anti-PON3 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and the PON3 concentration is calculated against the standard curve. The assay range is 78.1-5000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <36 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery ranges in serum are 80%-102% (average 91%), in EDTA plasma 81%-100% (average 90%), and in heparin plasma 80%-89% (average 84%). Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
