Human Pancreatic secretory trypsin inhibitor ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human SPINK1/P12 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay is reported as specific for SPINK1/P12 with no detected cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants.

The kit uses a pre-coated microplate platform with a 4-hour assay time and colorimetric detection read at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader. Capture and biotinylated detection antibodies form a sandwich with the target analyte, with signal generated via HRP-Streptavidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a yellow product whose intensity is proportional to analyte concentration. The stated working range is 0.313–20 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL. Recommended dilutions advise that serum and plasma samples should be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer prior to testing, with validated healthy serum and healthy plasma dilutions at 1:2. Recovery data for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma are available with the product.

Kit components include lyophilized standard, sample dilution buffer, biotinylated detection antibody, antibody dilution buffer, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, SABC dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealers and a foil zip-sealed pouch. Components are shipped at +4°C and stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the Protocol Manual. The documentation advises avoiding freeze/thaw cycles and not using the kit past its expiration date.
