Human Palmdelphin ELISA Kit

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Palmdelphin in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique: an antibody specific for Palmdelphin is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate, and bound Palmdelphin is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-Palmdelphin Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added and the reaction is stopped with an acidic stop solution, producing a colour change from blue to yellow whose intensity is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The quantitative assay range is 1.56–100 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of 0.61 ng/ml. The complete protocol takes approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. The product is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.

Reported mean recovery is 91% (range 80%–102%) for serum (n=5), 90% (range 81%–100%) for EDTA plasma (n=5) and 84% (range 80%–89%) for heparin plasma (n=5). The kit is supplied with a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers.
