Human p21 Protein Activated Kinase 4 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human PAK4 (p21 Protein Activated Kinase 4) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids.

The assay uses an antibody specific for PAK4 pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-PAK4 Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and PAK4 concentration is calculated from the standard curve. Reported sensitivity is 0.065 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Components include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or –20°C as indicated. Average sample recovery is reported as 91% for serum (range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80–89%).
