Human Oxysterol Binding Protein Like Protein 8 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Oxysterol Binding Protein Like Protein 8 (ORP8) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, together with a biotinylated anti-ORP8 detection antibody, HRP-avidin and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and is proportional to the concentration of ORP8 captured in each well.

Total assay time is 4h 30m. The quantitative working range is 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of <0.138 ng/ml. Percentage recovery has been characterised in serum (range 80%–102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81%–101%, average 91%, n=5) and heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, average 84%, n=5), and linearity has been demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for all three sample matrices.
