Human Ovarian Cancer Immuno Reactive Antigen Domain Containing Protein 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human OCIAD2 (Ovarian Cancer Immuno Reactive Antigen Domain Containing Protein 2) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique: an antibody specific for OCIAD2 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate, standards and samples are added, and bound OCIAD2 is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-OCIAD2 Antibody followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a standard range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.112 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Recovery has been characterised in serum (range 80–102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81–101%, average 91%, n=5) and heparin plasma (range 80–89%, average 84%, n=5). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 has been reported as 87–91% / 87–107% / 74–101% / 92–97% for serum, 90–105% / 84–101% / 90–101% / 79–108% for EDTA plasma and 84–95% / 92–105% / 82–105% / 89–91% for heparin plasma (n=5 each). Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 × 8 well strips), lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, 30× wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Components should be stored at +4 °C or −20 °C as indicated and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
