Human Osterix ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Sp7/Osterix in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The Antibodies.com kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) together with a biotinylated anti-Sp7/Osterix detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported performance characteristics include an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, a sensitivity of <0.125 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Validation data show serum recovery ranges of 80%–102% (average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma ranges of 81%–100% (average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma ranges of 80%–89% (average 84%, n=5), with dilution linearity values assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for each matrix.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or -20°C depending on the component.
