Human Osteoglycin ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Osteoglycin (OIF), this sandwich ELISA is reactive with human samples and is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The 96-well microplate is pre-coated with a capture antibody specific to OIF; bound analyte is detected using a biotinylated anti-OIF antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a yellow product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit provides a sensitivity of <0.113 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, with results obtained in 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been validated in serum (average 91%, range 80%–102%), EDTA plasma (average 90%, range 81%–100%) and heparin plasma (average 84%, range 80%–89%), and dilution linearity has been assessed across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions. The pre-coated plate is supplied as 8-well strips; kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.
