Human Ornithine Decarboxylase ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Ornithine Decarboxylase (ODC) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate format (12 x 8 well strips), a biotinylated anti-ODC detection antibody, HRP-avidin, and TMB substrate, producing a colour change that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The product range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.127 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Average recovery across tested dilutions is 91% (range 80%–102%) in serum, 90% (range 81%–100%) in EDTA plasma, and 84% (range 80%–89%) in heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed.
