Human Organic Solute Carrier Partner 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Organic Solute Carrier Partner 1 (OSCP1) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique using a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for OSCP1. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, washed, and incubated with a biotinylated anti-OSCP1 detection antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the OSCP1 concentration is calculated from a standard curve.

The assay covers a quantitative range of 0.312-20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.115 ng/ml and takes 4h 30m to complete. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit should not be used past its stated expiration date. Reported spike-and-recovery performance in biological matrices includes Serum 80-102% (average 91%, n=5), EDTA Plasma 81-100% (average 90%, n=5) and Heparin Plasma 80-89% (average 84%, n=5), with linearity ranges at sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 documented for each matrix.
