Human Oncostatin M Receptor ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com and intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human OSMR (Oncostatin M Receptor) in urine, tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate (12 x 8 well strips) and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm, with a total assay time of 4h 30m.

According to the manufacturer, the product range is 0.156-10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.058 ng/ml. Standards and samples are added to the wells where OSMR binds to the immobilised capture antibody, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-OSMR Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added to visualise the reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; the intensity of the yellow colour is proportional to the amount of OSMR captured in each well.

Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol manual, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
