Human Oncoprotein Induced Transcript 3 ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human LZP in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids, with reactivity confirmed for human samples. The assay employs a pre-coated microtitre plate onto which an antibody specific to the target has been immobilised; standards and test samples are added, followed by washing and incubation with a biotinylated anti-target antibody, then with HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is used to visualise the reaction, producing a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; the absorbance is read at 450nm in a microplate reader and the concentration is calculated against the standard curve.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity below 0.109 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml. Recovery was evaluated across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples (n=5 for each), with averages of 91% (range 80-102%), 90% (range 81-100%), and 84% (range 80-89%), respectively. Linearity of dilution was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions across the same sample types. Total assay time is 4h 30m, with detection performed colorimetrically.

The kit is supplied with a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer (30X), sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers. Components should be stored at either +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
