Human Nuclear Transcription Factor Y Gamma ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human NFYC in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for NFYC is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, read on a colorimetric microplate reader. Standards and samples are added, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-NFYC Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate is used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue colour that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance at 450 nm is proportional to NFYC concentration.

The kit reports a sensitivity of <0.114 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values are 80%-102% for serum (average 91%, n=5), 81%-100% for EDTA plasma (average 90%, n=5), and 80%-89% for heparin plasma (average 84%, n=5). Sample dilution linearity is provided for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions.
