From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human SRC3 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate and employs a biotinylated anti-SRC3 detection antibody with an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a yellow product measured at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes.

Reported sensitivity is 0.117 ng/ml with a quantitative assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Kit components include lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers, to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated. Spiked recovery averaged 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5).
