Human Nuclear Factor Kappa B2 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human NFkB p100/NFKB2 (Nuclear Factor Kappa B2) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with human samples and employs the standard sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, in which a capture antibody specific for NFkB p100/NFKB2 is pre-coated onto the wells of the microplate.

Quantitative readout is achieved colourimetrically on a microplate reader. Manufacturer-supplied performance specifications include an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.126 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. The kit is supplied on a pre-coated microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips, and kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

During the workflow, standards and test samples are added to the coated wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-NFkB p100/NFKB2 detection antibody and then an HRP-avidin conjugate. After incubation and washing, TMB substrate solution is added; the resulting blue product changes to yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution, and the intensity is read as O.D. absorbance at 450 nm. The concentration of NFkB p100/NFKB2 in each well is then calculated by reference to the standard curve.
