Human Nuclear Factor Kappa B ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) enables in vitro quantitative determination of human NFkB p105 / p50 in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips and is read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm, with concentrations calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The standard curve spans 0.156–10 ng/ml and the sensitivity is <0.063 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. Supplied items include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A (120 μl), Detection Solution B (120 µl), 30X Wash Buffer (20 ml), Sample Dilution Buffer (45 ml), TMB Substrate (9 ml), Stop Solution (6 ml) and 5 adhesive plate sealers.

Spike-and-recovery testing in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5 each) yielded average recoveries of 93% (range 87–100%), 94% (range 89–99%) and 94% (range 90–98%) respectively. Linearity across dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 was demonstrated in the same sample matrices.
