Human Non POU Domain Containing Octamer Binding Protein ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Non POU Domain Containing Octamer Binding Protein (nmt55/p54nrb) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids. Distributed by Antibodies.com, the kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with an antibody specific for nmt55/p54nrb pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where the target present in each sample is captured, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-nmt55/p54nrb Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate solution is then used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue-coloured product that changes to yellow after addition of acidic stop solution; the density of yellow is proportional to the amount of nmt55/p54nrb captured.

The assay has a product range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.126 ng/ml, with results read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm by reference to a standard curve. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and the platform is a pre-coated 96-well microplate supplied as 12 x 8 well strips. Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer (30X), sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
