Human NMS ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Neuromedin-S/NMS in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay is completed in approximately 4 hours on a pre-coated microplate and is read colorimetrically at 450 nm. The kit is specific for Neuromedin-S/NMS with no reported cross-reactivity to other analogs or variants.

Sensitivity is stated as <9.375 pg/mL, with a working range of 15.625–1000 pg/mL. Reported spike-and-recovery averages in neat samples were 91% (serum), 92% (EDTA plasma) and 98% (heparin plasma), with serial-dilution linearity ranges spanning roughly 80–105% across the same matrices. Kit components are shipped at +4°C and stored at +4°C or -20°C as directed in the protocol manual; freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.

Detection uses a biotinylated antibody and HRP-streptavidin conjugate with TMB substrate, producing a yellow product after acid stop whose intensity at 450 nm is directly proportional to target concentration and is quantified against the standard curve.
