Human Nitric Oxide Synthase Interacting Protein ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human NOSIP (Nitric Oxide Synthase Interacting Protein) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids.

The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, with an antibody specific for NOSIP pre-coated onto a microplate. Standards and samples are added, followed by washing and incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-NOSIP Antibody, then HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with NOSIP concentration calculated from the standard curve.

The standard assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.053 ng/ml, and total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported sample recovery is 80–102% (average 91%) in serum, 81–100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma, and 80–89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions is 87–107% for serum, 84–108% for EDTA plasma, and 82–105% for heparin plasma.
