Human Nidogen ELISA Kit

Offered by Antibodies.com within its Assays and Kits range, this sandwich ELISA is developed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Entactin/NID in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Its sandwich enzyme immunoassay principle involves adding standards and samples to antibody-coated wells, binding with a biotinylated anti-Entactin/NID antibody, and detecting with an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The colour change is read colorimetrically at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

Stated performance characteristics include a sensitivity of <0.066 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 min. Reported average recovery values are 91% for serum (n=5, range 80–102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81–100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 80–89%), with dilution linearity data provided for 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions.
