Human Nicotinamide-N-Methyltransferase ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables in vitro quantitative determination of human Nicotinamide N-Methyltransferase (NNMT) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a biotinylated anti-NNMT detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The reported sensitivity is <0.059 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 h 30 min.

According to the manufacturer's specification, recovery is reported at 80%–102% (average 91%) for serum (n=5), 81%–100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma (n=5), and 80%–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma (n=5), with dilution linearity from 1:2 to 1:16 given for the same sample types. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as labelled, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
