Human NFKB Repressing Factor ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Human NFKB Repressing Factor (NKRF) ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human NKRF in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate on which an antibody specific for NKRF is immobilised. Standards and samples are added to the wells so that NKRF present in each sample is bound by the immobilised antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-NKRF detection antibody is added, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that changes to yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution. The intensity of the yellow colour is proportional to the amount of NKRF captured, and the concentration is calculated by reading the optical density at 450 nm in a microplate reader and referring to the standard curve.

The assay has a reported sensitivity of 0.126 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. It is run on a colorimetric microplate reader platform with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product is intended for research use only.
