Human Nexilin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables in vitro quantitative determination of human Nexilin/F-actin-binding Protein in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated microplate. Standards and test samples are added to wells coated with an antibody specific for Nexilin/F-actin-binding Protein; the captured target is then detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Nexilin/F-actin-binding Protein Antibody, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The reaction is visualised with TMB substrate solution, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, and concentration is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

The product range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <6.3 pg/ml, and total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. Average recovery values of 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma are reported across n=5 samples per matrix, with additional linearity data provided at serial dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same sample types.
