Human Neurturin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, the Human Neurturin ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Neurturin in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) format with colorimetric detection read at 450 nm. The standard curve covers an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.128 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

The procedure employs a biotinylated anti-Neurturin antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate with TMB substrate, producing a yellow-coloured product upon addition of stop solution whose absorbance is proportional to the amount of Neurturin captured per well. Reported average recovery values are 92% for serum (range 82–102%, n=5), 94% for EDTA plasma (range 91–98%, n=5), and 93% for heparin plasma (range 86–101%, n=5), with dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions reported for each sample type.
