Human Neuropilin 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA is designed for the quantitative in vitro measurement of human Neuropilin 1 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The format uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips; standards and samples are captured by an immobilised anti-Neuropilin 1 antibody and detected using a biotinylated anti-Neuropilin 1 antibody together with an HRP-avidin conjugate. Colour development with TMB substrate is read at 450 nm, with the absorbance proportional to Neuropilin 1 concentration in each well.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of <0.118 ng/mL, an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Validation data cite recovery values in serum (range 80–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (80–89%, average 84%), with linearity demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for all three sample matrices. Kit components are to be stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed, and the reagents must not be used past the stated expiry date.
