Human Neuropeptide Y Receptor Y1 ELISA Kit

The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for NPY1R, employing a biotinylated anti-NPY1R detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Bound NPY1R is visualised with a TMB substrate and the absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit reports an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.122 ng/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery in spiked samples averages 91% for serum (range 83–100%), 96% for EDTA plasma (range 90–103%), and 95% for heparin plasma (range 89–102%).
