Human Neuropeptide S Receptor ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this Human NPSR1 (Neuropeptide S Receptor) ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human NPSR1 in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a colorimetric readout taken at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader. An antibody specific for NPSR1 captures the analyte in each well, a biotinylated anti-NPSR1 detection antibody binds the captured target, and an HRP-Avidin conjugate combined with TMB substrate produces a blue product that changes to yellow after addition of the acidic stop solution, with the intensity of the yellow colour proportional to the NPSR1 concentration, calculated by reference to a standard curve.

According to the manufacturer, the kit has a sensitivity of 0.108 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported spike-and-recovery values include serum (range 80%–102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (range 81%–100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (range 80%–89%, average 84%), each evaluated at n=5.
