Human Neuropeptide S ELISA Kit

An in vitro quantitative competitive ELISA supplied by Antibodies.com for the determination of human Neuropeptide S in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a colourimetric read-out at 450 nm on a microplate reader, and a total assay time of 2 hours 30 minutes.

Performance specifications include an assay range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 4.69 pg/ml. Spike-and-recovery validation produced ranges of 80%–102% (average 91%, n=5) for serum, 81%–100% (average 90%, n=5) for EDTA plasma and 80%–89% (average 84%, n=5) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity has been characterised at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma samples (n=5).

Provided components include the pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.
