Human Neurokinin B ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Neurokinin B (NKB) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The kit uses a 96-well pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, together with a biotinylated anti-NKB antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. In this competitive format, NKB in the sample competes with plate-bound antigen for antibody binding, so the resulting yellow colour density (read at 450 nm) is inversely proportional to NKB concentration.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of <3.12 pg/ml and an assay range of 12.5-800 pg/ml, with the protocol completed in 2h 30m. Reported recovery across five samples per matrix averaged 91% for serum (80%-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (81%-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (80%-89%). Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
