Human Neurofibromin 2 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human NF2/Merlin (Neurofibromin 2) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The procedure uses a pre-coated microplate onto which an antibody specific for NF2/Merlin has been immobilised; standards and test samples are added to the wells and NF2/Merlin present in each sample is captured. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-NF2/Merlin Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that changes to yellow on addition of the acidic stop solution, and the absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader and quantified against the standard curve. Reactivity is Human and detection is colorimetric.

The stated assay range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.128 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. The platform is a pre-coated microplate supplied as 12 x 8 well strips.
