Human Neurofascin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Neurofascin in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with antibody specific for Neurofascin. Standards and samples are added; captured Neurofascin is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-Neurofascin Antibody, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450nm and concentration is calculated from the standard curve. The total assay time is 4h 30m.

Reported performance characteristics: assay range 0.312-20 ng/ml and sensitivity <0.083 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery across n=5 samples averaged 91% for serum (80%-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (81%-100%) and 84% for heparin plasma (80%-89%). Dilution linearity (1:2, 1:4, 1:8, 1:16) for serum (87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97%), EDTA plasma (90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108%) and heparin plasma (84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91%) is provided.
