From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative in vitro determination of human NBL1 (Neuroblastoma, Suppression Of Tumorigenicity 1) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips. NBL1 is captured by an immobilised antibody and detected using a biotinylated anti-NBL1 antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a colour change that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with concentration calculated against a standard curve.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of <0.059 ng/ml and a measuring range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery has been validated in serum (average 91%, range 80–102%, n=5), EDTA plasma (average 90%, range 81–100%, n=5), and heparin plasma (average 84%, range 80–89%, n=5), with dilution linearity demonstrated from 1:2 to 1:16.
