Human Neuregulin 4 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Human Neuregulin 4 (NRG4) sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human NRG4 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses pre-coated wells with an anti-NRG4 capture antibody; bound NRG4 is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-NRG4 Antibody, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. After addition of an acidic stop solution, the yellow colour is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader and the NRG4 concentration is determined against a standard curve.

According to the manufacturer, the assay has a sensitivity of 0.31 ng/ml and a measuring range of 0.781–50 ng/ml. It is performed on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), with a total assay time of 4h 30m, and the colourimetric reaction is quantified using a colorimetric microplate reader. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date. Reported spike-and-recovery data are: Serum (n=5), range 80%–102%, average 91%; EDTA Plasma (n=5), range 81%–100%, average 90%; Heparin Plasma (n=5), range 80%–89%, average 84%.
