Human Neuregulin 2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Neuregulin 2 (NRG2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with human samples and runs on a pre-coated 96-well microplate configured as 12 x 8 well strips, read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, with a total assay time of 4h 30m.

The assay has a product range of 0.156–10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.058 ng/ml. The principle uses a sandwich immunoassay format in which an antibody specific for NRG2 is pre-coated onto the plate; standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-NRG2 Antibody, then HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate solution is used to visualize the reaction, which changes from blue to yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm and concentration is calculated from a standard curve. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.

Reported recovery values are: serum (n=5) 80–102% with average 91%, EDTA plasma (n=5) 81–100% with average 90%, and heparin plasma (n=5) 80–89% with average 84%. Linearity across dilutions 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is reported as: serum (n=5) 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101%, 92–97%; EDTA plasma (n=5) 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101%, 79–108%; heparin plasma (n=5) 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105%, 89–91%.
