Human Nerve Growth Factor ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate and colorimetric detection read at 450 nm on a microplate reader.

Performance figures cited by the manufacturer include a standard curve range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml, a sensitivity of <6.1 pg/ml, and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Validation data are provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma, with recovery values across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 spanning roughly 74–108%. The plate is provided as 12 x 8 well strips in a 96-well format, with detection based on a biotinylated anti-NGF antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate producing a TMB-derived colour change.
