Human NADH Dehydrogenase 5 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human MT-ND5 (NADH Dehydrogenase 5) and is intended for use with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids. Results are read on a colorimetric microplate reader by measuring absorbance at 450 nm, with a total run time of 4 h 30 m on a pre-coated 96-well microplate.

The assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.072 ng/ml. In the procedure, standards and samples are added to antibody-coated wells where MT-ND5 is captured, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-MT-ND5 antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. After washing, TMB substrate is added; the resulting enzymatic reaction yields a blue colour that converts to yellow on addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance intensity proportional to the MT-ND5 concentration, calculated against a standard curve.
