Human Na+ Taurocholate Cotransporting Polypeptide ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this ELISA kit enables the quantitative measurement of Na+ Taurocholate Cotransporting Polypeptide in human samples using a sandwich ELISA format. The assay is designed for use with tissue homogenates, cell lysates or other biological fluids and runs on a pre-coated microplate read with a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm. The reported sensitivity is <0.27 ng/ml with a working range of 0.781–50 ng/ml, and the protocol takes approximately 4h 30m to perform. Reported recovery values are 80–102% (average 91%) in serum, 81–100% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma, and 80–89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma (n=5 each). A capture antibody is pre-coated on the plate; samples and standards are added, followed by a biotinylated detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with colour development produced by TMB substrate and visualised after addition of an acidic stop solution.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96 well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
