From Antibodies.com, this competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human NT-ProCNP in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with NT-ProCNP antigen (12 x 8 well strips) and a Biotinylated Anti-NT-ProCNP Antibody, with detection via an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The kit reports a sensitivity of <4.42 pg/ml and an assay range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml.
