Human N-Terminal Pro Atrial Natriuretic Peptide ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human N-Terminal Pro Atrial Natriuretic Peptide (NT-ProANP) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Reactivity is human.

The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are captured by an NT-ProANP-specific antibody, detected with a biotinylated anti-NT-ProANP antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, and visualised using TMB substrate with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The product range is 39–2500 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <13 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Reported spike-and-recovery values (n=5) are 80%–102% (average 91%) in serum, 81%–102% (average 91%) in EDTA plasma and 80%–89% (average 84%) in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions (n=5) ranged from 74% to 108% across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

Components supplied are a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, 30× wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage temperatures specified per component between +4°C and -20°C.
