Human N-Methylpurine DNA Glycosylase ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com Human MPG/AAG ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human MPG/AAG (N-Methylpurine DNA Glycosylase) in tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The procedure employs a pre-coated microplate with an antibody specific for MPG/AAG, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-MPG/AAG antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate yields a blue product that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution, and absorbance is measured at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The quantitative assay has a working range of 0.156-10 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.055 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4h 30m. Recovery for serum (n=5) ranges from 80% to 102% (average 91%); EDTA plasma (n=5) from 81% to 100% (average 90%); and heparin plasma (n=5) from 80% to 89% (average 84%). Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
