Human N-Ethylmaleimide Sensitive Factor ELISA Kit

The kit is intended for use with tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids, with reactivity confirmed for human samples.

Assay performance includes a sensitivity of 0.116 ng/ml and a detection range of 0.312-20 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m. Detection is colorimetric, read at 450 nm in a microplate reader. The technique employs an antibody specific for the target pre-coated onto a microplate, with bound analyte detected using a biotinylated anti-target antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the reaction yields a yellow product whose absorbance is proportional to target concentration and calculated against a standard curve.

Reported recovery averaged 91% in serum (range 80%-102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%-89%). Linearity was demonstrated across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples.
