Human N-Acetyltransferase 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human N-Acetyltransferase 1 (NAT1) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Detection relies on a biotinylated anti-NAT1 antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate; the colour change is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader and the value interpolated against a standard curve. Total assay time is stated as 4 hours 30 minutes.

The reported assay range is 1.56–100 ng/ml, with a stated sensitivity of <0.61 ng/ml. Recovery has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. For neat samples (n=5), average recoveries were 91% (range 80%–102%) for serum, 90% (range 81%–100%) for EDTA plasma, and 84% (range 80%–89%) for heparin plasma. Dilution recovery has been examined at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same matrices. Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed on each component.
