Human Myristoylated Alanine Rich Protein Kinase C Substrate ELISA Kit

A sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Myristoylated Alanine Rich Protein Kinase C Substrate (MARCKS) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate with a biotinylated anti-MARCKS detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, visualised with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit has a stated sensitivity of <0.055 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. In spike-and-recovery testing with n=5 per sample type, average recoveries were 91% in serum (range 80%–102%), 91% in EDTA plasma (range 81%–101%), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%–89%). Linearity was assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

Included components are a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, Detection Solutions A and B, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution, and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated. The protocol recommends assaying standards and samples in duplicate and equilibrating the TMB substrate for 30 minutes at 37°C before use.
