Human Myosin Light Chain Kinase ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Myosin Light Chain Kinase (MLCK) in tissue homogenates, cell lysates, or other biological fluids. The 96-well microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for Myosin Light Chain Kinase/MLCK. Standards and samples are added, followed by a biotinylated anti-MLCK antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Detection uses a TMB substrate, producing a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

The product range is 0.156–10 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.053 ng/ml, and total assay time is 4h 30m. In undiluted samples, average recovery was 91% for serum (range 80%–102%, n=5), 90% for EDTA plasma (81%–100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (80%–89%). Across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, serum recovery ranged 74%–107%, EDTA plasma 79%–108%, and heparin plasma 82%–105%. Kit contents include a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers.
