Human Myosin Light Chain 9, Regulatory ELISA Kit

Designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human MYL9 (myosin light chain 9, regulatory), this sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is intended for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with a capture antibody specific for MYL9. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-MYL9 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. After incubation with TMB substrate, the reaction is stopped and absorbance measured at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with the intensity of the yellow product proportional to MYL9 concentration.

Manufacturer-stated performance figures include an assay range of 78.1-5000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 29 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported mean recoveries (n=5) are 91% in serum (range 80%-102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81%-100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80%-89%). Dilution linearity is provided across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.
