Human Myosin Light Chain 2, Regulatory, Cardiac ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Myosin Light Chain 2, Regulatory, Cardiac in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an immobilised capture antibody. Standards and samples are added to the wells, washed, and then incubated with a Biotinylated Anti-Myosin Light Chain 2 Antibody, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution; the intensity of yellow, read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, is proportional to the amount of target captured in each well.

The reported assay range is 0.156–10 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of <0.055 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported recoveries are 80–102% in serum (average 91%, n=5), 81–100% in EDTA plasma (average 90%, n=5), and 80–89% in heparin plasma (average 84%, n=5). Kit components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.
