Human Myosin Light Chain 1, Alkali, Fast Skeletal ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human MYL1 (Myosin Light Chain 1, Alkali, Fast Skeletal) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with a capture antibody specific for MYL1; standards and samples are added to the wells, where MYL1 is bound by the immobilized antibody.

Following incubation and washing, a biotinylated anti-MYL1 detection antibody is added, then an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow after addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, and colour intensity is directly proportional to MYL1 concentration. The reported sensitivity is <42.5 pg/ml, with an assay range of 125–8000 pg/ml. The platform comprises a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and total assay time is 4h 30m.
