Human Myosin Heavy Chain 9, Non Muscle ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of human Non-Muscle Myosin IIA (Myosin Heavy Chain 9, Non Muscle) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids.

The assay employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique. An antibody specific for Non-Muscle Myosin IIA is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, where the target is captured by the immobilized antibody. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-Non-Muscle Myosin IIA Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate solution is then used to visualise the HRP enzymatic reaction, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution. The density of yellow is proportional to the amount of target captured in each well. Concentration is calculated by reading the O.D. absorbance at 450 nm in a microplate reader and referring to the standard curve.

Sensitivity is 0.063 ng/ml and the assay range is 0.156-10 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Detection is colorimetric on a pre-coated microplate of 12 x 8 well strips. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and must not be used past the expiration date.
